took my hyper for its first service today...and after setting off in what can be only described as a down pour i arrived at dg about 1hr 45 mins later rather soggy ....i was greeted witha smile and a hot mug of coffee and the offer of drying out my non waterproof boots and socks on the radiator ....as much as i wouldve liked for that to happen ...i couldnt have inflicted that on everyone there  ;)

just over a hour later and another mug of coffee i was on my way ..with a cleaner bike than when i arrived

so thanks to everyone at DG for service beyond the norm ...again :D

You can get accustomed to receiving service like that Jamie, DG always exceeds my expectations

Value is not entirely down to the price paid, there's a few dealers could do with learning this - and not just in the bike trade.

Yes they are good.

Luckily here at Arnold Clark we exceed everyones expectations. Time after time. Quite boring really. :)

Its nothing to do with value though.

To get back on track - this is the normal excellent service from DG

is vinecome street still on the go ...spellins prob wrang :D

Yeah. Just been extended too. Quite a place that. I think that is the place with the Victorian facade?

Anyway. Back to Mrs Rees and cakes. We could have a separate section for her and instead of craic have one for cake! She could post a new recipie each week.

We could have 'scooooooones' for the quick ones amongst us. 'Spaghetti' for those of us round the bend. 'Sushi' for those who still insist Japanese is best. And the odd 'low fat' offering for the more rotundly challenged in our ranks!

Sir Arnold Clark if you please. A Knight of the Realm.

Are you not a teacher or something?????

Yes I am a teacher and something, but you still haven't explained who he is?

I have quite a few friends with hereditary titles but I've never heard of Arnold Clark. I take it his is one of those lifetime things if he insists on using it on a daily basis.

Mary contributes well in class but..................:D

......does not associate with second hand car dealers. ;)

I have heard people refer to it but they always called it 'Arnold Shark' that's obviously where the misunderstanding arose.

Don't worry about it, before I started using this forum I'd never heard of him either.

Let's get back to talking about important things... like cake :D

Quite quite sad.

And you are a 'teacher'? People in glass houses. etc etc....

A big stinky worm on your hook? Like you never heard of him? Couldn't wait for the Arnold Shark reference to get out?

Mary is a teacher, right? Perhaps she should look up decorum and respect in the books at school. He did not get the 'Sir' tag for nothing.

I presume you have led such an accomplished life so far? Second hand cars. These are perhaps what the not so well off minion parents of your students drive? Cliche. I would have expected better of you as a teacher!:)

Anyway. Back to cakes. And 'The Odessa File' which has just started!

Ian

Nearly. Its a bit predictable. Almost as predictable as when AC moves into bike sales. :)

As for the clock? Its going fine but needs some TLC. I was thinking of changing to some sort of LCD? Drop by for a cup of tea. Gord will be ecstatic to see a friendly face!:D

As for Sir Arnold. Lets leave him out of it.
