1198 clutch lever kick back when changing gear

Hi all
Have a 1198 with a strange kick back on the clutch lever when changing gear .
Doesn’t make any difference change up or down, you get the feeling of the gears on the lever
Runs and drives ok a part from this
Have checked the clutch all looks good . Was new last year,had upgraded clutch done at time by bsd.
It’s just a strange feeling you get that something is not right

That sounds similar to how my bikes feel when the chain needs checking so if you haven`t done so I`d do that first.

I should point out that I am mechanically almost totally inept so any advice from me is best ignored. Apart from the bit about ignoring my advice, that`s good advice.

Welcome to the community mate, as a first point of call, @Dukesox may not be inept as he makes out, it does sound like it could be chain lash being transmitted through the bike, so chain tension/condition and sprockets to be looked at, another point could be slave cylinder, original/upgraded? I could be just 'clutching' at straws

I really must get round to it someday.. the wife went in there to get a pair of pliers and I aint seen her since... It was only when I noticed how quiet it was indoors that I realised she was still in there somewhere...
