This is a quote of a quote from Ducati America ish, the guys 2013 Monster 1100 was stolen and he's looking at replacing with another new one, the dealer has been liaising back and forth and recent comment was.....
"The Monster 1200 will be $13,495+freight/prep. There will also be a monster 1200 S for $15995 +freight/prep that will have Ohlins suspension, lighter wheels, 10hp more (145hp), and higher spec brembo brakes."
 
I struggle to keep my head on my shoulders on the Evo with 100hp - I imagine this is the evolution of the S4RS and say goodbye to the Streetfighter for a few years
 
Apparently there will be no more air/oil cooled engines. Emissions legislation has put a damper on that. 899 monster anyone ?
