Now that my bike is over 3 years old and therefore out of warranty, I'm looking to get the service for this year and MOT done more locally at an equally reputable mainstream dealer (just not Ducati) the 200mile round trip is a bloody nightmare...Question...How much of a detrimental effect will this have on the re-sale value of the bike (not that I'm selling her)?
 
In my opinion, not a lot and what you might loose in resale value you will more than cover in reduced servicing costs. Just make sure that you have evidence that it has been serviced.
 
They are going to Stamp the service book, and they have promised to fit original Ducati Parts.....it just won't be a Ducati mechanic who does the work....They pick the bike up and drop it back off again..that counts for a lot as well
