Anyone know or is a good TIG welder for a rush job in the central belt?

Hi All,
I'm in the stooshie! :mad:

The guy I lined up to TIG my Termi exhaust mods for the 748/1198 hybrid 'thingy' has had to go away with work unexpectedly and I need it done in a hurry to get the beastie finished and on the stand at the Lanark show so do any of you guys know anyone that I can drop a Y-piece and balance pipe off to to get done by the weekend?
I'm in Edinburgh but will travel anywhere in the central belt to drop them off tomorrow(Tues) if I can as I'm away up to Lairg on Wednesday morning and won't be back until Friday evening.

All the mods are done/sections cut and the parts are MIG spotted together with stainless wire so it should just be a case of welding the seams in a pretty fashion and finishing the welds on the relocated mounting bracket.

Not looking for a freebie and happy to pay for a good job but the welds need to be sound as they'll be fairly visible.

There is a guy in Inverness that could do that and make a first class job of it. He made my project exhaust.
Can send you his details but not sure if he could do it at that short notice.
Went in on Saturday to see him and he was making an exhaust for a race bike going to the North West and also a Triumph from what I could see from a distance.
You won't find anyone better to be honest and it may be worth giving him a call first thing in the morning to see if he can do it for you.
If tacked already he could probably do it in a hour or two (or less!).
Let me know and I can pm you his details etc.

I think Scott has mentioned this chap to me before as I have a couple of other bigger non-urgent jobs for an exhaust guru but I'm pretty sure he's always maxxed out if it's the same fella, worth a try though. Can you PM me his details and I'll give him a buzz tomorrow.

If Scott mentioned him it is almost certainly the same guy.
I dropped some work off for another member last week and he did it the next day. Only issue may be if your tack welding is not 100% he may not want to do it. He is very careful about only having his name attached to something that is 100% right. He is a perfectionist!
Will pm you some info just now.
