D16RR ECU

Would anyone know if a standard ECU is only usable on the original bike it was fitted to from the factory.

Is it locked to that bike or can it be used on any other standard D16RR

As far as I am aware the IAW5SM needs immo delete.
It is not an ECU I have worked with.
