I just enquired about a bmw g310r for The Trouble at The Superbike Factory, the bike seemed well priced but i was then told of the admin charge of £179 on top.Applies to all bikes they told me
What a Guinnessy way to do business, get someone interested, maybe even travel a fair way to view a bike as the headline price looks to be good.Disingenuous at best.
I've never liked their stores anyway but this means they go on the potential Set Fire To Them List along with such luminaries as Argos, The Range & IKEA.

Quite a few dealers do that now as an unexpected small print cost. You could always put an offer on the bike £179 lower than advertised but if it's the principle of the thing then yep, don't buy there.

Definitely won't shop there. I'm a straightforward bloke and like to deal with straightforward people and companies.

It was on the phone as opposed to in person but that is exactly what i did.

You don't seem to be doing business with salesmen these days but order takers. All they can do is say That's the price take it or leave it.

Doing deals feels like it's in the past.
