Diet

Last wednesday I got a cold. I thought it wouldn't properly come out as one, as for the last year I haven't had one...just had times when it felt like I was getting one, then it would go in an hour or so.

Well this one didn't and on thursday it was a proper wipe-your-nose-every-minute sort. I'd booked the afternoon off to do something which turned out was cancelled anyway, but I took the time off and just chilled out.

Now on the wednesday I was wondering why I'd got it, and I'd been getting back into drinking a few coffees a day (since Scotchland trip), so I stopped on the wednesday.

Friday morning came round and I was 50% better. By the time I finished work at 4pm, I was 100% - in fact I had a ton of energy which carried on through the weekend.

Was it the coffee? Who knows?

BTW its proper coffee, grind the beans at the time I make it - not instant.
Proper coffee is worth making yourself ill for. So is cheese for that matter.

I used to drink several cups a day, usually with biscuits.

The thing with carni is, it's an elimination diet - so if you introduce one different item, you feel exactly what it does to you. When you're eating all sorts of things, it's hard to say what's doing what.

Would probably be easier to tell if something you eat is causing problems your way.

If you're eating all sorts, cutting one thing out at a time may help but could also take longer to find out what's causing some problem I suppose.

Cheese is no problem - any kind, and butter...sometimes I'll just have a slice of butter like you would cheese (y)
I can't eat cheese as it gives me severe migraines, i lose my sight, it starts with a squiggly bright light and it moves across my eyes and i can't see. I don't get a bad headache it's a mild one and then it leads to throwing up, it fucks me up for about three days, chocolate and coffee gives me less severe migrains but i avoid. Out of the three it's cheese i miss, i used to love blue stilton and edam, i can't stand coffee and i don't miss chocolate!!🤷‍♂️

At the end of the day when it comes to buying stuff at supermarkets etc you don't know what your eating, find a good butchers and you can't go wrong. (y)
We went to one of the best recommended butchers, the quality was nowhere near to the ribeye we get at our market. Mind you, they charge like ~$28-$31per pound.
