That's an interesting headline.
Casey has said that Ducati didn't take any notice of what he asked for, even after he left riders were asking for the same thing but were ignored. Ducatis problem was Casey could ride just about anything so they could save a fortune developing the bike knowing casey would win on it.
They had to bring in Gi Gi in to make it rideable.

When I was at WDW in 18 I went to a couple of presentations which when combined with how they treat riders in the GP team has dulled my opinion of Ducati management.
It was clear that if they have a fast rider they try to get the other riders to copy the lead riders data rather than listen to the rider.
When Stoner was testing his times were still faster than the GP riders but didn't take any notice of his suggestions of how to improve the bike.
Ciabatti and Tardozzi were giving a presentation but left half way thru to go to a "meeting". These are two people who work for Ducati 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, year in year out. The fans only get I hour every 2 years to be there and travel a long way and pay their wedge to get in. That piece of condescending, arrogance insulted those present. If they thought anything of the fans they would ensure they gave their time for them.
Even Gigi kept Dovi hanging on until it was too late for him to sign for anyone else such was his need to screw him over.
Great engineering crap management.
