Ducati top brass spotted eyeing up a Triumph

Interestingly (for me anyway) my bike was the converse of this, the previous owners being the Triumph Motorcycle Company. It had been bought by them for assessment when they were developing the new (at that time) Triumph Sprint ST. When I got the bike it still had remnants of gaffer tape under the panels where the data-logging stuff had been stuck on and the front tyre was nearly worn out with 1000 miles on it. I think they had been giving the ABS a hard time :D

Not in the near future unfortunately. Maybe once the adventure bike craze has worn off :dunno:

suppose with triumph and ducati being the only brands that are doing well at the moment (rather than just standing still ) its wise to keep an eye on them.
