DVT rates for Ducati Service

Hi

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of using this chap in Consett for servicing. I think his business is called something like DVT? Seem a really nice chap on the phone. Booked in for start of April. Apparently he takes photos as he does the work to reassure you it has actually been done,

TBH, If someone HAS to take photos to prove that hes doing the work then that would send warning signals to me straight away......just doesnt seem right.

I mean, I could take photos of me servicing my bike but I havent a @@@@ing clue what Id be doing :D
 
DVT aka deep vain thrombosis. Not a good start.

From Darlow, a nice saunter to Ducati John, Leeds. Watch and wait (and I learned alot) while he services the bike in front of you and then off back home via A61 Harrogate/Ripon/Northallerton.

but if you've got the bike booked in at Consett do you mean VTS :dunno:

if you do, then ignore what everyone else has said cos I don't think you could get better service anywhere else, AWB and I both get our bikes serviced there and believe me when I say neither of us would let any muppet touch our precious Ducs.

Mark doesn't have to take photos to prove he's done the work - he likes you to have peace of mind that the job's been done that you've paid to be done - especially if you're a new customer. One of the reasons he works for himself is he was sick of seeing people being ripped off at main dealers.

The first time he serviced my bike, he had another 748 in bits that should have been back with it's owner but when Mark had a look he knew that the belts & fuel filter that the owner had paid (& had receipts for) to have done elsewhere hadn't been changed.
The guy's good enough to get plenty of business without even advertising anywhere - 'nuff said.

So send your bike there & sleep easy knowing the jobs been done right :thumbs:
 
You don't need to say anymore Bev. Mark offers a first class service, I don't let just anyone mess with my bikes.
