On the DSC booking form you were given choices as to which group you would be happy in......

Novice

Novice / Inters

Inters

Inters / Fast

Fast

For example if you chose Novice / Inters and Novice was full you would be moved to Inters.

Well, I chose Inters / Fast and have just had confirmation that I have been allocated a Fast group place :eek:

I suppose its better going out in fast at a club day rather than a commercial trackday, still a bit nervy though for me, hope i'm not a chicane !
 
Think the DSC/Club days are less of a full on trackday pace Ian probably at most be a spirited inters group.

Anyway sod that Jerez in November, got my booking forms here :D

JPM is right, club type days are generally a bit steadier than going on a a commercial trackday when there's a race meet in the next few days.

Unless yer Rossi or Augustus Windsock there's always someone faster or slower.

To be honest thats what I thought when I booked it, got kinda used to been on the track this year and in reality am quite looking forward to the Fast group, I will see how I get on but everyone reckons that the Fast group is the safest anyway !

Now then, all I need to do is style it up over the Mountain for Guido and we are laughing, well everyone else will be as I enter the clubhouse via the front window !

Ed, the Mountain and I met last year, i'll try for the back wheel clear this year !

it's a blo*dy buzz going up there isn't it! I've always hated the high curbs though.
I personally hate wheelin', and going light at the front up the mountain feels like the front end is in orbit - when most of the time it's only 5" off the deck! ;)

we really must meet up at one of these trackdays sometime - what a crack that will be. My old Imola fairs quite well around tracks like Cadders and knockhill. Silverstone was a bit of a yawn though as I don't have the top end speed (and lets face - only 90horses to boot!)
