Folks,I'm organising a works run up to Forres,in July,meeting in Glasgow but wanted to know the best route?
I see there is a military road that takes us through,Balmoral,Trossachs etc up to Grantown on Spey,staying at the Covenanters Inn then back home next day,so open to suggestions to best route there and back!

On the way back take the B9007, nice wee road. Then you can turn right back to Grantown or carry on the back road to Aviemore and Kingussie before A9. Or you turn East at Ballater and the 'East Coast Posse' can advise you from there.
