Actually we don't have either tarantula now! Borisetta turned out to be an old girl and passed away peacefully in her container. I got her from a pet shop. They had no idea her age. I had suspected she was old so it wasn't surprising.
A few months before Borisetta passed, we came home one evening and found our baby green bottle blue inactive along the side of the container, positioned as if she fell. There was no sign of injury so we left her alone to see if she was going to molt. After 5 days it became apparent she was dead. That was disappointing because she had grown a lot and her coloring was really starting to come out after the last molt. I called the breeder and he said it happens sometimes and we'll never know why. Maybe we'll get another tarantula someday.
We have since gotten 2 canaries and still have our 2 parakeets and of course our 12 year old dog Tina. That's enough for the time being.
