Niall and I are just back from a run on our bikes today and what a terrific day it was, a great day for what might end up being our last run this year.
Forfar, Kirrie, Blairgowrie, Dunkeld via Essendy then up the A822 and over the A826 to Aberfeldy where we stopped for coffee and a bite to eat. From Aberfeldy to Tummel Bridge then to Pitlochry for another stop before heading home over the Moulin Moor to Kirkmichael, Blairgowrie and home again.
Only about 140 miles but plenty at this time of year with a chill in the air.
The autumn scenery was utterly brilliant and could have made some great calendar shots but I forgot to take the camera :banghead:
The only downside was the amount of mud and leaves on the roads which were still damp in the shade but as long as we took our time and looked ahead we had no problems.
