I'm liking the MZ had a 250 ETZ (not sure) years ago and it was as hard as a massi tribesmans feet!!!! Great bike never let me down......:D

Surprised Chiz didni keep the gold coloured tat to clash with his red fasteners on his SL :). ;)
 
Lindsay, the MZ I had was an early one with leading link forks like the Arrow, horrible headlight/Nacelle arrangement but totally reliable....sold it for buttons and bought an AJS 350 single which was so slow it would not pull a boy scout off yer grannie!!!!:eek:
 
I ran an oil cooler on my '83 TR65 thunderbird (prob one of the last bikes from old triumph) twas a Kwaka Z750 type thing, made up stainless brackets and got me mate from Dreager engineering to make up some alloy pipe reducers/connectors and have to say it worked a treat, oil capacity up by 3/4 litre and never too hot, and NEVER leaked a drop of oil, remember at TT stoppig at Ginger Hall to check all was well after police stopped me at laurel bank for being out of control, and wheelying away on a 50hp triumph!!! FFS that bike went well......(rose tinted specs now back in the box!!):eek:

Well spotted! Between its life around Errol and Abernyte and sitting in my garage under a sheet, it did a flit to Spain with a fully loaded chair then lived at the top of a Spanish mountain for a while. Am guessing the enormous oil cooler (long since flogged on eBay) was fairly essential.

I'll be checking big ends and mains when the time comes ;)
 
I'll be interested to see how Lindsay's A10 comes out. I have known this bike and 2 of it's previous owners for nearly forty years :eek:

Yep thats the one!!!! Dont recall the forks being like that I seem to recall much more like the Ariel Arrow.....anyway that is a minter and very nice indeed mine was rust and woolworths egg shell blue.....:eek: Would I be right in assuming that they are valuable now????

That looks fine from the bars back.
Headlight is of questionable taste and obviously the front mugduard is off a different make of bike altogether..............or should it have a 30" front wheel? :confused:

(Or did the Police use them as battering rams in siege situations?)
