Im in the process of cleaning up my arrow end cans and has come across a small problem. I was wanting to refit the arrow badges on it as the last owner had removed them, so contacted motorcycle race parts as i knew they stocked them. He asked for a picture of the old badges which i do not have so he asked for the measurement between the centre holes of the badge, so i measured between the 2 rivet holes on the exhaust. Now i measured 14cm but the the guy informs me that arrow have only ever made them upto 11.5cm problem begins!! He is now asking if they are actually arrow end cans and if i have any proof they are. Now like i said i dont have the old badges but was told from the dealer i bought the bike from they are arrow exhausts and the shape of the mark the badges left are the same as arrow badge shapes.
My question is to everyone that ones arrow exhaust or know them, is there any specific markings on the cans that will tell me they are arrows? There is one marking on both of mine, it has an A with like the racing leaf pattern round it heres a pic! Also if i remember rightly there is an arrow chip in the ECU, not 100% would have to double check!
