Well I have booked on the 28th June with Freak, Lily and crew at Oulton, I am in Inters and have a couple of IL4 mates coming aswell, they are very quick on the road and have also booked in Inters although it is there first TD, they will be fine !

Yesterday Freak made a suggestion that brought the mischief out in me, booked in today for the 31st May !

I was a bit worried about the pace in Inters so have booked for novice on the first one and stuck with Inters for the second one :)

Anyone else coming with No-Limits, Oulton Park 31st May ???

Just got to try and get the day off work now :eek:
 
Still waiting on places Ian, Mark's potentially got two in FAST which haven't been paid for yet so he's going to give the guy a nudge and let me know... could always go in novice for a giggle though

Well I would love to be shown round, I am nervous already ! I bet if you book novice someone will not show ?
 
That's the other option, and as with every trackday there's always crashers unfortunately so always the option to move up there.
 
Could be tempted myself. If I can get bellypan to fit. Just remembered me leathers are still in being fixed. Will try and find out if I can make it.

I do want to, just dont know if I can! Need leathers back form repair, could do with a new front tyre as it seems to have got loads of slits in it almost as if I have been riding over broken bottles. Need to get track day fairings to fit properly as well. Going to see what I can do.
 
No I haven't Martin, I was reminded that I need to stop spending cash as we're about to move...

Cheers Jon, I am hoping to find some time later to have a fiddle with it. I am sure my wheelbase must by about 1 1/2 inch shorter than Claires bike looking at the difference in the clearance on hers compared to mine?! You would have laughed as Ive just had another large pool table/small van saga, delivered that pool table you saw to a gym in Blackburn. Funny when I got there as well as the bloke who I sold it to gave me a lift upstairs with it, this blokes got arms bigger than my thighs and came 9th in mr Great Britain. Had to stop twice for him to get his breath back as we carried it up 3 flights of stairs. It gave me time for a sneaky fag though. :)

Will see how I get on with the bellypan but have kitchen people coming at 5 so may have to wait till morning.
 
May get him to knock me a bellypan together in Granite. May be a slight weight problem but perhaps would add some stability?

Jon, is by any chance the bellypan different for the fairing without sidestand cutout as opposed to one with. Had to cut mine to suit side panel with cutout and found myself wondering if the one Claire has fitted is actually shorter? Maybe just wishful thinking on my behalf.
 
As far as I am aware no..

Barry only had the side panel without the sidestand cut out, but Claire's original kit for her 748 (Vimori) did have the cut out, Barry borrowed the side panel only and copied the cut out to fit his panel.

When I had Bob originally I cut the side panel and around 6 inches of the lip off the belly pan where it meets the side panel to allow for the side stand, but later just bought a panel with the cut out.

Claire seems to think Barry has changed things, but I honestly don't think he has he was even bragging how good the mould was as he'd done over 200 kits from it so far
