Went for a ride yesterday, couldnt resist, went to devils Bridge, there were about 12 other bikes, with more coming and going all the time but I was the only one with a Ducati. The weather wasnt bad and the roads were nice and dry had a good blast, got rid of the cob webs. Is this a regular meet place for "Up Northerners"?? Anyway fed the ducks had a burger and a coffee any body else go yesterday??
 
i occasionally go down on a Saturday, Sundays are too busy. We have our regulat monthly Tuesday night meet at the Whoop Hall Inn about a mile south of the Bridge on the 65. It'll be a nice evening ride up and back from Manchester
 
As Mike says, we mostly be goin' elsewhere at the weekend, and midweek some of us have to work........:mad:

However I aim to be somewhere up there Monday, it's my day off and I have the 1098 on demo from Ducati Leeds.........if you're out give us a shout! I'm up to Whoop Hall on Tuesday with luck, about 7.30ish I reckon.

PS, biscuit and potato, I am up there quite regular as it is a close run for me, so if you ever fancy givin me a nod before hand and we can meet up maybe for coffee and greasy burger..........no bacon and egg butty, gotta think of my waistline................see my pic!!
 
Im up there all the time in the summer , but only go up during the week. The last time I went up on a weekend there were to many :jerkoff: riders which in turn attracts to much attention from the boys in blue !
 
Often there on a Saturday, normally about 1PM - Martin H sometimes meet up for a brew and B&P has bobbed up for one, been up there nearly every weekend so far this year.

Can't do weekdays, although if I am passing in the car and there are few bikes parked I will stop and have a brew and the craic !
 
I prefer going to Poseurs Bridge during the week and have had some really quite and cop free rides going out there. You do tend to get the weird beards on their AJS or Square 4's tho, tis quite entertaining;)

Rest assured the Police are VERY active during the week and while training stop at the bridge for a brew, I had a business meeting, we had it at devil's and during the hour or so we where there 4 different Plain Police cars pulled up for refreshment, very pleasent - but be aware the weekday does NOT make you safe on the A65 !

I used the A65 as little as possible, at worst the stretch from the bridge to Ingleton then on to Hawes and back home.
 
Good ride, loads of bikes there and lots if dukes too :)

749 is a blast, quite a crowd puller too eh Ian? :lol:
