ALL Ducatis are red! .... It's just that there are different shades... red... dark red... light red..... two tone red...........:D
 
woh, just seen the MV/Magni link Steve, very, very nice but well out of my price range even selling the 999 to gordon for an inflated price :D

all Ducati's start with a red undercoat, the lucky ones end up yellow or black the remainder are doomed to a life of mediocrity :D

but the rough surface of the red undercoat isn't as aerodynamic as the smooth, sleek yellow or black so they are actually faster ...
 
I used to have a yellow one, but a quick trip to the doctors, a course of antibiotics and hey presto.......its red again!;)

yea but the red ones look like theyre doing 100 mph when stationary. hence that gives us a head start. :p

aye, which you need cos they actually don't go as fast, thats unless you are at a ducati meet when it takes you so long to find your bike amongst the sea of red that the yellow ones are already home :)

true, but whats better when riding, bugs on bike or bugs hitting you?? bike cleans easier than leathers so another god reason to go yellow, same thing with wasps, they get attracted to the bike not the rider :)
 
Davie doesn't know if it's better - he just got a yellow one because it's the same colour as his special friend lee-roy's examination gloves :p

don't try and move this to mocking Davie, he's not here to defend himself and if he was he'd probably reply with " i just didna wanna get one the same colour as that fanny baes (sic) Scottch had" :D :D
 
I see you've got the same exam gloves!

(mine wasn't red - mine was ..... urban camouflage applied at speed) ;)

urban camoflage ?? is that like black tarmac rash on the red paint ??:eek:
