Silencer on. Battery in and hey presto all the electrics work..:D


Need to get the carb cleaned and in, header down pipes on.....fuel in and.....:flash:.......oh and better bleed the brakes..:eek:
 
Bike back together...:D Now just need to fix a clutch problem before I try and fire her up..:) Also have a problem trying to bleed the rear brake....may be the master cylinder seals are goosed! :rolleyes:

The only real expense apart from paint and man hours has been the re-sleeving and welding of the original exhaust silencer....nicely done by Andrew Goodfellow of Auchterhouse at very reasonable cost. I would highly recomend him for any metal work that needs done. You can view some of his work here...

I had similar problem with rear brake on my project and we were at it for ages trying to get any pressure in it. (We tried sucking it through in addition to just pumping the pedal)
Almost at the point of giving up and suddenly it was fine.
 
Grand job Doug! Look forward to seeing it in the flesh. Here, what's that sound? I believe it's a gnashing of teeth coming over the Tweed at Clovenfords.....!

Yip....looking forward to trying it out....never had an enduro bike before.

Looks like I will be crossing the Tweed at Clovenfords to give DB a hand to complete..:comp2::lol2:
