Any good, i've had mine for years and has lifted many bikes!!

Oxford stands cocker, I have one with three shafts, Ducati large and small diameter and Honda Triumph compatible, served me well for about eight years now

Hiya, thanks for the reply, it looks pretty much like what i already have, the swingarm has a curved bottom so the cups dont sit right! Is your bike a 749 with grey swinger?

No i have a 996 and don't know the schematics of a 749, hopefully someone will come along with a suggestion. (y)

Haha, I didn't look close enough, I saw 748 and was off on one :D

R&G do spindle sliders with the cups on similar to this

For peace of Mind I'd ask them to confirm the spindles have the recess to take a cup fitting rear stand
Thanks, ive seen them, great for general maintanance, but i want to take the back wheel out,

Bucko, the only way forward I can see is an abba stand with the compatible adapters to lift the rear for wheel removal, other option is borrow or rent a hoist/block and tackle, lift the rear end, wheel out, swinger out, then either drill and tap M8 for bobbins or get a local engineering place to do it for you. I havent gave up on my oxford stand yet lol, ive just been in the garage for another look,im going to cut the stand cups that i have so the upstand is a lot shorter, then maybe? They might fit under the swinger were the spindle /nut is, i mean what could possibly go wrong 😂

I've been looking on 749 paddock stands and fucking hell they are not cheap, anyway keep us updated? :)

Well, back wheels out 😁 i ended up cutting the cups on my oxford stand so that there almost flat, left about 10mm upstand on them to stop the swingarm slipping, just enough room to get everything out!
