Hanging around reading magazines in WHSmith's is a dangerous project in itself:

what was it based on ?

Spoke to the makers of the TT2 kit at the Lanark show in May.

They supplied the frame and plastics and you supplied the donor motor etc.

Trick to authenticity was either using a Pantah motor or reversing the head on a more modern engine which was not a cheap prospect but can be done.

Think so Johnny. Like Graham says Quill is part of the Empire.

Someone was advertising on Ebay maybe a year ago and I was sure they were doing the frame and plastics for £2500.
These folk say it wasn't them at that price and I would have thought I had imagined it if it wasn't for the fact someone else saw that advert as well.
Can't imagine the world is overflowing with people making TT2 reps?

there is also redfox over here in flanders who is doing framekits , plastic and rear heads ,but those heads are already bored to take big valves and bigbore carbs
he is not cheap either but his heads are machined out of solid alloy
