The strange era of tiny high revving sportsbikes

I used to have a Honda RVF400 for commuting, before White Lightning.

Cool bike, but at 6'1", I was far too big for it (even though I am svelte as hell). Sold quite cheaply, and probably worth a few quid today.

Love the quater liter superbikes. 50hp with 20,000 rpm shift points, great handeling and no weight. Most of them used the same tire on the rear that your 1000cc bike has on the front. We may be reentreing this age of tiny motors with super output. Just look at the Kawai 400 RR it makes 75 hp from 399cc and revs nice and high with the frame, suspension and brakes to keep pace with bigger machines
