What are valve clearances specs for a 695 monster 2008?
I read some things about "new" and "old" specs.....

"new" and "old" references tend to hark back to when Ducati revamped the service schedules to reduce costs etc. Some, chose to stick with the old measurements used for the likes of M900 or M600 as they were tighter.
There's no real need. Follow what's in the relevant manual for your bike and you'll be OK.

As Nelly said Ed, just take your time follow the manual, there are many video's on the tube for guidance too

Hey folks, job done! Takes some hours for the frist time, but nice to do.
Everywhere good to go, but to get the inlet valvecover off from vertical cilinder, takes most of the time.
Thanks for the help and hints!!
