The Ducati Supermono Compressore?

I've been reading through some back issues of MSL recently and came across this snippet from July 2002 -

I wonder what became of it? There must be a prototype lying in some store in Bologna.

Sounds interesting, but adding a supercharger would surely dilute the simplicity of a single?

I suspect it's lying in the old factory, on the right as you enter the current factory. There are lots of bits and pieces in there including a Desmo covered in dust and lots of old race bikes.

Hopefully they will all be on display if/when the new factory and museum are built.
