Wraps and the DVLA

I believe? that if you change the colour of your car/bike through new paint or wraps, that you should notify dvla of a colour change. I believe any colour change pops up on an hpi search?

So has anyone had a wrap in particular, that has been enough of a colour change to warrant a dvla notification and if so, did you or did you not notify them thinking the original colour is still under the wrap?

Today i got my photo license back, 13 fucking weeks yesterday i sent that off, as desmo posted that photo above of me he wasn't far off the likeness, fucking cheeky Guinness:love:, shine on dude!!

I was thinking more across the lines of, say you have a red bike, decide to wrap it black. Say plods behind you, runs a reg number check and the plate comes up as a red bike but the plate is on a black bike, they might think something is amiss.

You see quite a few strange finishes around town.
Dayglow pink little car in North London, number plate Gay 1 or similar.
Drug dealer large Mercs and Audi's in the most garish of colours... saw a large Merc saloon in Black Panther style fur... not the Jewel thief the claws and teeth kind.

Im guessing no need to register it as the colour hasn't actually changed it's still the same underneath and the wrap is removable.

I didn't keep mine, she was seriously wadded (as in a Monkey's head in a bag of sand was like a penny to her) 🐵💰so maybe in retrospect your advice ruined my life :mad:

She is sitting on a bike (her father was Putin's Doctor but don't tell DOX as he knows everything about everything - only he's wrong or lying, not sure which as I'm not sure how daft he really is) mind you, you're pretty daft if you need to ask what she's doing when it's blatantly obvious 🤪
