Spy shots suggest Ducati plans DesertX V2
Recent spy shots hint toward a new engine platform for the under-appreciated DesertX adventure motorcycle.
Yeah, different V2 engines. They’re sticking the new 900cc V twin engine in next years DX. The engine is smaller, lighter, no cambelts and no desmodromic valve system.Hi I am new to the forum and have one of these bikes. I find this very confusing as I am pretty sure my bike is a v2 but it is 3yrs old?

I actually like Samuel L. So no offence taken
Not yet, only the local gravel roads etc. I need to rack up some more kms before I hit the dirt. If ever if I’m honest. But I think that tyre may be no good in the mud. They look fine to me Karen, have you taken her in the rough? Pardon the pun![]()
