What the feck have you done today?

Today i had to get up early as we are getting a new boiler fitted, it took him most of the day and it's a new updated Vaillant one with wireless thermostat. He explianed how it works then my mind went blank and all could hear was static!! It's similar to the set up in my stolen flat so my sister has no chance of working it out, i'll give it a go and try to explain it but i think i would be better off speaking to her in swahili!! :) I had to wait in for parcelforce to pick my albums up and guess what, they never turned up and the guy dealing with me is on holiday on Friday till the 27th, i've emailed him that they didn't turn up so he will get that in the morning. It means if he doesn't get the albums by Thursday i will have to wait nearly 2 weeks for an appraisal!! Action and reaction at it's finest, i also had a call from the Solicitors who are still dealing with the crash last Feb that wrote off my 900ie, i have been put forward to another Solicitors that are going to claim for my personal injury ie: broken wrist. The Guinness in the van will not accept that it was his fault, fucking wanker!!

Flew down to Ho Chi Minh City to look at a new office location and ten back to Hanoi again.
  • Four hours flying
  • Three hours in cars to and from airports
  • Four and a half hours waiting for delayed flights (both ways) 😤
  • 45 minutes viewing the office and discussing T&Cs
  • Half an hour for lunch.
Super productive day...😡

Today i had to wait in again for my two boxes with my albums in, thankfully he turned up at half four. The guy dealing with the collection will be on holiday till the 27th but said it will be priority when he gets back and gives me an appraisal. He said he is looking forward to seeing it, fucking right there is some rare albums in there and first pressings. He better hit me with a good appraisal or they get sent back to me at there expense.🤷‍♂️

Apparently a one off....no ones ever seen it before on an SXV. At the time....cruising through town, 3k rpm on and off the throttle lightly (ironically i was on my way up to Riders in Bristol) to collect some parts for the Hyper....could initially hear a slight noise, which got progressivly louder (probably the crank starting to split) then, vibration through the right peg (at that point completely disconnected) got to Riders, picked up parts, started it and nursed it the final mile home very gingerly....i partially stripped the motor. And then after a week of trying to find the issue the lad i bought it from insisted i sent the motor back up to him so he could tear it down - a voila.
Luckily he had a spare crank (so i owe him a crank!) so the worst possible failure but, the best in a a weird way. The only thing the crank took out was itself and the shells - that was it. I think at the point the crank separated it was the confines of the engine casings that held it all together... Engine is re-assembled and should be back with me early next week. Thinking positive thoughts for "SXV2.0" Ive not disclosed the fact to the other half i need to find another crank yet...or how much one costs...!

Tried to buy a K1600GT, messaged them yesterday to say happy to buy the bike, rang up this afternoon as agreed and the feckers sold it to someone else 1/2hour earlier despite agreeing a price with me!

Back in the 90's I agreed £1500 to buy M3 MUM and M3 DAD with a guy in London - was going to drive down, pay cash and get the transfer done with the guy. I phoned the night before to arrange where to meet and the time, and the London prick said he'd sold them to someone else...when was he going to tell me? Arsehole.

I had the same with JV 123 and 123 JV, £1000 for the pair but the tosser pulled out. I’m sure he realised they were worth a shitload more but I was going to keep and use them.

Just seen 123 JV for £6,500 on fleabay.
