Hi all
One of our SDC members has a wee problem with the following and I'm wondering, with the wealth of knowledge and experience we have on DUN, if anyone out there can help at all with information and assistance .....
TIA
daughter and son in law are coming to Scotland in late June for 14 days. During that time, we will tour on my bikes for 8 days. I've just discovered that I cannot name them as riders on my insurance policy since all 3 bikes are insured on one policy.
I've been told that if I want to name them, I must cancel the existing policy (£££), start new ones for each bike individually with my no claims bonus applying to only one bike (£££££), then after they have gone home, to revert back to my original policy - I must cancel the new 3 individual policies (££££££££).
This seems rather excessive for such a simple matter as getting temporary coverage for 2 experienced riders for a Duc Mult and KTM 640.
Any suggestions??
