Yes. It’s mad. I did try and buy an LC350 about 4 years ago. “won” it for £1750 but the guy never responded to my messages about collection. Wonder why?
Think about £2500/£3k is as high as I’d go for an 80s bike so that’s me effectively out if the game.

Yeah. The value certainly isn't in what you get from riding it. It's supply and demand.

Ageing middle aged bloke with increasing waist line + Head full of nostalgia for his youth / Limited supply of the bike he had 40 years ago = High prices.

That was a Terry Beckett tuned 250 which I proddy raced and hillclimbed for a short time (2 seasons) until I fell off three times in one day at the Three Sisters track near Wigan..........

Still got a scar on my arm

I only remember finishing races when everyone else had packed-up and gone home - I used to lock-up the track and switch the lights out
