The general rule of thumb seems to be on the older under the seat models a termi must be the one and on the newer under the engine exhausts, Akra must be the one.

There must be other exhaust manufacturers for Ducati's and if so what have you tried, how was the fitting process, how was the price in comparisson and looking back, was it the right choice? The poll allows multiple answers and feel free to explain further in any reply

I put BOS race cans on my M900, sounded well cool, ST4 is still standard but would like a pair of termis 👌

Hmmmm. 🤔

Too simplistic to try and answer in your poll. For me, I prefer the following on the bike's I've had or got......
  • 916 / 996 - Termignoni (Carbon)
  • 1098 - Termignoni full system, although the Akrapovic Ti pipes are cool, I prefer the Termi slash cuts though
  • Panigale - Akrapovic Ti
  • Desmo - Termi as I don't think there's another option.
  • Streetfighter - Akrapovic
  • Hyperstrada - Akrapovic
Oh, I have an Akrapovic on the Tuono and Vespa.

I guess looking at that. Termi are better for the older school stuff, Akrapovic for the newer kit.

I've had Yoshimura on Suzukis and a D&D on my Fireblade, which I loved as I never saw another.

I’d forgot about yoshi cans, they are a nice bit of kit!! There’s also Dep as well.

Personal preference I suppose I like termis never liked akras on anything both brands are probably no better than than a lot of others but people like what they like 🤷‍♂️

Termi (black carbon) on 748.
Akra Ti on Pani
I had carbon SilMoto on my 996. They were v nice.

I have Termi's, Akra;s, Termi's and Akra's on my 1098R's but prefer the look of the Akra's

Wow that’s stunning.
Did it need remapping?
I believe with the Termis you need the race ecu, is that right?
You should’ve kept that Rob, although I remember you saying it helped pay for the Pani R.

I thought it was the best looking SFS I'd ever seen. Although I never said so at the time as that would be a little bit cocky. 😇 I juat got it the way I wanted it.There was a lad over at Mordor that had a very heavily modified one, which was nice, but he must have thrown a fortune at it and I like some of it, didn't like other bits.

The only things I may have done if I had kept it were BST wheels and a BST swing arm. But that was another £6k and I couldn't have justified that on the value of the bike. When I fitted the BST swing arm to 'El Diablo' last year, I had wanted one for a while, but it was always meant to go on the SFS and not the 1098R. By the time a new one came up at reasonable money, the bike was gone. 🤷‍♂️

I bought the Termi kit from my local Ducati dealer which came with the ECU, filter and lambda blank. There is an option to buy just the silencers. When I sold the Termis, I left the ECU and filter in the bike to use with the Akra's

I was never going to sell the bike as I bought it new. I wasn't looking to sell it but a guy over at Mordor (Baylissboy) kept pestering me and really wanted it. He was a really nice lad and after I said I couldn't sell it as I had too much in it, he made me an exceptionally good offer which meant I had to find about £5k to switch over to a Pani R with 400 miles on it. After thinking it over for 24 hours, I said he could have it. He wanted it more than me, was decent throughout and my logic was that I could always build another one if I missed it that much.

I have them in my eBay watch list, but have never been tempted yet. Although a red framed titanium model may take some resisting. 🥴
