I paid £5K for the R32 ten years ago....
One owner, FVWSH, Top of the range with all upgrades.
Cost me a couple of grand since, looks like a reasonable motoring investment.
And I've got my moneys worth on the lifetime tracker contract..... ;)
 
Surely the way to go is to advertise your item at an extortionate overprice.. with a tale of die saying how you are going to have to let her go.., for say six months … obviously all those that have no intention of buying it say oh what a great bit of kit and good luck with the sale … then in said six months Say you have decided to keep her … which really means no one took your ridiculous offer seriously… and eventually you do sell it but at around 25% below the original price…

They are shit underpowered heavy bags of crap superseded by the golf R which actually is a good car so if there’s someone dumb enough to buy one then that’s great but I don’t think 19 k will work somehow 😂

You should also be courteous to the crowd of onlookers and ask for advice as to whether you should leave all the extras on or take them off and sell them separately and does this change the value 😂

They are of a similar ilk of the Mondeo st 24. Lots of noise but not much happening.

The MK4 R32 two door was the prettiest.

And until I sell mine at a profit I won't be told different.

But have you ever owned a decent sports car ? so you would think it’s a fast car as you have no reference point and also spouting lap times is bollox. Like listening to the track day hero in the pub who broke Valentino Rossi’s record round misano. “Nearly”

Golf R not much greater than an iconic golf GTI… poor mans S3 … they are that shot they give them away and most driving them have them on PCP… cos they can’t afford them.
