A post popped up in my Facebook feed this morning, from The Bike Specialists (see below). It tells how they presently have 5 of the Desmosedici RR to sell. Yep, not one, not two but FIVE for sale. Clearly there are that many people off-loading them, but why?

I know there are a few on here who have one, I know there are a few more who would like one, but is the fact these guys have 5 to sell at the same time in the same place an indication of anything?

But for me , the deal-breaker for personally owning one would be the servicing ....
.... huge amount of aggro to do it at home , or an eye-watering , wallet-spanking trip to the dealer .

But who knows what Santa will do ?
He only comes once a year , but when he does , he fills his stockings .....

I know what I’d prefer.
As FE says maybe they are overpriced which is why they’re not selling but it doesn’t explain why there are so many for sale in the first place.

I do hope so.

Although sometimes he can be a bit strict.

According to their current inventory they have 1 Dessie for sale at nigh on £70K.

I have my sticker kit in a box in the loft with loads of other bitz. Never put it on and never will.

I'm just watching.

However, servicing is extremely cheap. No belts you see, and it costs much less than my 1098R. There's a difference between servicing and fully rebuilding the thing, which people seems to conflate.

I think that picture is from a few years ago - they only had 1 in when I was selling my R6 the other month - a zero mile for £70k that @JAT mentions above.

Not quite fook all, as servicing still costs. I'm glad I used to use mine on the road then.

They had 1 on eBay last month, I was surprised when @West Cork Paul said they had 5 today.

Checking their website, they still have 1 for sale and 1 sold bike still advertised.

But I sold a 1098R for more than they valued it at
