Motorways

One more for the dying group that hasn't died yet:

I have always had it in my mind to avoid motorways, when riding motorbikes, as they are straight and boring.

My current finking is that this is is stopid. Sometimes, they make sense, as you can do more miles, and get where you want to go quicker.

I have not even looked at what tyres my KTM has, so why should I care about wearing them out?

My new idea is to just go where I want, when I want, by whatever route that I want - and not give a shiny shit about the tyres.

So, there you go.

I'm not a keen motorway rider but if the alternative is traffic congestion, or time being a limited factor then so be it.
On my Scotland tour end of May, did 350 motorway miles, out of a total of 1400 miles.

Can't fucking stand motorways, Guinnesss sitting on the middle and outer lane and 9 times out of ten the inside lane is empty. I usualy find myself doing Matrix riding, it's the only fucking way to make any progress!!

I enjoyed some rapid filtering with @SHarper on the Dublin ring road heading to the port.
