Factory duc, talent, it's inevitable... can't stand the Guinness but no denial, on any given day he can rock it.

Who won.................
To be honest i forgot all about it, i've had a bit of a loony day and been busy, i only found out when i got back home after shopping!! It flashed up on youtube, i have zero interest in it it's boring, the only person i check on is Marco Bezzecchi!! Hope he has a better season then last year. Been following him for about 6 years now, very talented when he has a good bike under him.Who won.................![]()
I, like most did not enjoy MM dominating the field for years on the Honda. I like his drive to win and his talent is undeniable. I wish Martin would have been an adult and stayed with red for this year so we could watch them all (Marquez bros, Bagnia, Martin and the other duc boys) all fight up front. We dont want to watch one guy always win(just like Rea) but we need as many aliens at thw sharp end to make racing as enjoyable as possible. Remember before MM crashed out and got hurt, if you wernt on an Onda or yammi it was rare to get even a podium. Ducati has been dominating GP for just the last 3 years really which is nothing compared to how long Honda/MM won everything just a few years ago. Be patient, there are major rule changes planned and Honda has never been one to just take losses standing still. Yammie has a new inline 4 comimg and plans for a V4as of 2027. Just let Balogna have their day and the tables will once again turn and MM is not getring any younger while Acosta and the new Ape rider (forgot his name but Ai?)will continue to improve with their bikes.Am I the only person on here that likes Marquez? The guy is class.![]()
Forgot to mention that Bimota are in WSBKs this year with a Kawasaki engine. The riders are: Alex Lowes and one i've been following Axel Bassani, he has some potential, he's been in WSBKs for 2 seasons and this is his 3rd and races 47. One to keep an eye on imo.
This is Alex Lowes in action. @Exige .

Aye up fuzzy felt bog eyed geezer
Marc Márquez turned Thailand into his playground, pocketing the PT Grand Prix of Thailand with a tactical clinic that doubled his weekend haul. The Ducati Lenovo Team ace—the first to win a Grand Prix on a Ducati debut since Casey Stoner in 2007—edged brother Alex Márquez by 1.732 seconds, with Francesco Bagnaia 2.398 back in third. It’s 25 points and the early title lead for the six-time champ.
Listening to a lot of bike racers by all accounts the centre hub steering is far more stable and better than the mass produced telescopic forks. It all comes down to price on manufacturing it, a penny here and a penny there just to save money!!I noticed the Bimota does not have the fancy type front end
The factor is forks are up and down motion where centre hub is more linear and more stable.I had read that the various connections did not transmit road feel as well but I am no expert and your explanation makes as much if not more sense

There was a team in the 8 hour endurance race i think 3-4 years ago and they where running a Ducati with centre hub steering and at one point if i remember rightly where 2nd in the race. I will do a bit of digging later for correct order and year it was, i know they where trying to develope a more efficient centre hub. What let them down was the Ducati, they where in a good position until the breakdown!!with less weight transfer back to front, and front to back, thus giving less feel and being regarded as not great for racing.
