It's like most Guzzi's that cluth change is basically the same faff as a car so i went off that!! Still a great looking bike and at a good price at the moment.

Out of every moving component on a motorcycle me and cluthes are my nemesis along with exhaust studs!!
@WAYNE I am by no means a Harley fan but if you really feel it is what will make you happy- go for it. I hope you take it/one for a long ride before you purchase. The test ride is what put me off of them even more than working on them. They use the same color wire for multiple things so tracing electrical is even more fun than normal. Add to that the lack of ground clearance and the less than great brakes and the raked out slow steering and extra weight and I was out for good. My friend on his 2015 sportster could not even keep up with my wife on her EX250r on a twisty road. Just make sure it is truly what you want before you buy. I know many people who are very happy with their Harleys and have had limited issues with their bikes, just make sure you are going to be happy with it and you and your new bike should be happy together for a long time.Wanker!!
Oh yeah a test ride will be the first thing i would do. I had a Indian Springfield i bought new and it was a hoot to ride, 1801cc of mental, i loved it. I had to sell it as i couldn't afford to run it, i bought it mainly for me and my x wife to go out on as she hated being on the back of my 900ie. So i have that in my mind and that had some strange American oddness! I found there threads on the bolts were shit just weak and easy to cross threads. Will see what happens.

Not trying to influence your decision but wasnt the AMF era of Harley when they all leaked oil? I know they suffer from the Harley wobble in that generation and I seem to remember transmission cases crack easily. They do make a soild aftermarket replacememt so make sure the bike you look at does not leak and has the upgraded tranny and you shouldbe goodNever watched SOA, i've been around the real deal so no need to watch made up shit!!
