You had to buy a 1098 to get a cuppa? Ducati Glasgow...quite possibly the best Ducati store in the world :tea: :p

i was really lucky to get that ,they'ved had a power cut since thursday,it came on about 10mins after i went in.

We had a gas stove in the back as back up, phone went mad as soon as power came back on. Cheeky sod, 25p next time !!!!!!!;) ;) ;) ;)

Must agree, the coffee at Ducati Glasgow is exceptional, proper cups and a plate of biscuits to choose from, had to have two cups when I was up there, and I was not even buying anything ( My mate was ) Still came away with a t-shirt though !

OOOO you !!!!!!!

Next time it will be sooooo bloody full, I tried two measures in the Corse cups bit it spilleth over. Did you take the cup away with you or did you now here that bit drooling and making a racket and fumes in the store, sounds good though :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

We are at the EXCEL next week, not the Ally Pally.

There will NOT be a 1098 tricolore at the Ally Pally, but we will have one at the EXCEL :)

Hazzy,

When i first heard about the 'Tricolore' I admit I was a bit of a scinic and was tempted to buy the standard 1098s. However speaking to Charlie & Jane at DL they did confirm that its much better looking in the flesh. Also as they are only doing a 3 month production run and may never re-make the Tri in 1098s again (similar to 851 & 888) I decided to stumped up the extra wonga for the Tri-colore. Should history repeats itself in the long run the Tri will be the better option and should hold its value that little bit more than the standard 1098s. My only next worry is whether to keep hold of my 2003 999s, which has only 6500 miles on it..

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions....

This should be my head, me thinks
:comp2:

I was going to go for the Tricolore until I found out that the USA markets etc get the full 70mm termi system for the extra £2000 while we only get the slip ons which means that the pain job is costing £1300 extra !!!
Plus the bike over there is only £14000 all in.

Could well have a quiet word with DL about getting the 70MM system instead as its not due until April/ May 07. Just intime for TT week.. Need to remember to take out the baffles aswell.....

Thanks for the 'food for thought'...................
