1198 SP Limited U.K. numbers ?

I saw an advert for one of the above and it claimed "These are very rare machines with barely 50 pieces coming into the UK. " were they rare?

I only just missed out on one at a fab price a few years ago only 70 odd of them World Wide I think...

Thats Bimota numbers. Didnt realise there were so few. Saying that, apart from ally tank and paint its just a 1098R so no real point to it as a model.
