1989 750 Sport upgrades?

Good Morning

New to the forum, looking forward to getting involved.

My wife's 1989 Ducati 750 Sport has been sulking at the back of the workshop for the last 8 years. I have just finished a project of my own (Norton Atlas) and have put the Ducati on the bench for some long overdue upgrades.

Specifically looking to get rid of the Weber and the small front wheel.

If anyone has experience or information about this I would really appreciate some wisdom!

Hi Jason, I'm gonna be a bit brutal, given the rarity of that model, I would restore to its original standard condition and treat the missus to a mid 90's 750/800/900 SS.
Just my two cents chief.

My bro had one of these 750's years ago, never did get it to run right, the carbs were a bitch by all accounts.
He sold it on cheap and is kicking himself still!!!

My 750SS is a '94 model with 17" wheels so I'm not going to be much use as a font for the earlier models !!

Niki bought it brand new so it really is a 'one careful lady owner' bike!

I don't know bro, there are some awesome places out west! Once ya outa the burbs..
