3 in a van? Bikes that is..

Hi, was wondering if anyone has had 3 bikes in a van here. of us a looking for the best possible way of transporting 3 bikes to trackdays and although we have had 2 in a van, does anyone have any fancy techniques of getting 3 in? (paddock stands/top and tail etc) not sure if can have a lwb van now as under 30 and some rental companies are saying you need to be over 30 to hire a long one... (obviously they are all a bit different in size if oyu can state what you have put them in that woud be great)


sorry im duplicating the posts on the various forums to try and get as much advice as i can...

Had 3 in a LWB Transit. 2 facing forward and middle one facing rear.(plenty of room)
Had 2 in a sprinter and a Master and reckon could get a third in same way if I tried.

You can fit 4 in a LWB Merc Sprinter, we've done it loads of times.:)

Three should be a breeze with enough straps.

Give me a bell at the shop and we can have a chat about it.

Lwb sprinter,3 in no prob...Merc Atego(like my gallus one,5 bikes at a push).

thanks to y'all for your promp replies, as it turns out one of the lads can't make it now, so we are down to 2 bikes (that we can cope with ;) )

May be see some of you at Mallory on sat if indeed we go ahead with it...

If you take the wheels off you can get about 20 in a Transit. Oh, sorry, that's mountain bikes. :D

More seriously, why not all turn up at the van hire place on your bikes and try them?

Martin i managed to get the 749 & a Mille into the back of my Despatch, it was last year & i cany remember if the door at the back was open, 1 of them may have been.
