350 Scrambler

From BikeEXIF, purveyors of fine vintage and custom bike photos, looks rather nice to my untrained eye:

Nice. Is the air filter housing missing a cover?

I would have some 'stone chip' schutz underseal on the underside of these mudguards - the paint will last 100m :D

The photos may be good but the bike is far from concours. I've been trying to figure out whether that is a broken spoke under the front hub or a bit of bent wire

No that is it.

Bike isn't "standard" but it obviously is used which is always good to see.
Member on here got a nice yellow 350 Scrambler a few months ago and hope to see it on the road soon. ;):)

Always thought the Scrambler was one of the prettiest singles Ducati made. A few "mock ups" have appeared in last few years of what the factory may do but no signs they would bring out another single yet.
Then again who would have predicted a Harley rival a few years ago?

It certainly looks nice in that colour scheme :) A simple but very well made single could be an option for the south east Asian market that Ducati have expressed an interest in. If they kept it relatively free of electronics and kept the price competitive (i.e. less than a cheap new car), who knows? Although chances are, if they made something like that it wouldn't be imported to Europe as it wouldn't sit well with the current brand image...

I count myself very lucky to have got this as it is a sought after model.

It has had a ground up full restoration with 12v electrics, electronic ignition and it kick starts easily.
Just having the tank sorted at the moment and then it will be immaculate all over.
The air filter cover is like that on all of them, I suppose an oval competition plate could cover it?

450 SCR Ser 2

never liked the scrambler as I was allways a soprts bike fan.
Then I bought one now I love it, use it more than any of my bikes !
If I can work this computor there will be a picture of it ??

Can tell you use it from blued exhaust! :D
Great to see that.

Nice bikes both Steve & Muxey.:)

Steve. That looks like quite a collection of classic Italian exotica in the shop where you got the scrambler - is it a classic bike retailer near to you?

Thank you and sorry for the late reply Dug...That is a photo taken at John Fallons place. I wish I had a garage that big even without all those other bikes.
I am having the tank painted and it is due back soon.....
