748 value?

[arran]

whats a 97 748 bip worth?
bloke at work has one for sale, red, been standing a few years, 13k, cracked fairing and screen but not too scabby, no service history or any other paperwork apart from v5 but it does run apparently with a jump start.
its in edinburgh and he is open to offers

[molenz]

its worth what you are willing to pay for it it

[molenz]

seriously "standing a few years" you don't want to pay more than 2 grand if there's no history, good luck

[Wob748]

Thirteen grand!

[arran]

i was thinking maybe more like 1200 quid

[Pict]

£1,500 - £1,700

[239desmo]

£1,500 - £1,700

+1

Need to budget for service and repair to plastics. Tidy ones needing nothing done are just over £2k.
Need to be very poor nick or someone eager to sell quick to get for £1200. (or very lucky)

less than a grand. sounds like a money pit.

If you don't want it pass on the details to me, I take pity on all unloved Ducati moneypits!

Whats it worth ?
"more to the seller & less to the buyer"
