848 in production?

According to a couple of other websites the 848 is in production
taken from 1098 forum

The 848 is already in production and has been for a few days. So far only 15 have been completed.

It will be produced in Black, Red, Beige and Pearlesent White, but it will be down to each country as to which they bring in.

Looks wise it is virtually identical to the 1098, except for the badging, a black line at the bottom of the fairing, and the motor has a WET clutch, so gone is that familiar Ducati clutch rattle.

Oh, and I know this because...... I saw it at the Factory on Monday, on the way back from my trip to WDW2007

stick with wet Niall, there is no reason to have dry clutch other than for top level racing where clutch plate swaps are needed almost every race.

Thats a real pity cos I had my cheque book at the ready. just talked yersel' out a deal ma boy!
