853 conversion

Well i have decided to take the plunge and do the 853 conversion to my 748R.Been thinking about it for a couple of years and after speaking to the rep at the EVR stand at the Milan bike show last year decided to go for it.EVR do an 853 kit,barrells,pistons,head gaskets and eprom which i have got.Also been into Sigma performance as they were the experts with these conversions a few years ago.Got some other parts from flea bay over the winter,STM 48tooth slipper clutch,a pair of 748rs gas flowed heads and a 54mm termignoni system.Have some carbon fibre body panels in the garage which i bought a few years ago but never got round to fitting them.Will try and get some photos on as i start.Hopefully be ready for the SDC trackday.

Pal of mine did this to his 748 sps. It's a bit of a beastie now. Until the starter sprag shat itself anyway. I suspect they may have been related.

View attachment 7861I did a 748/853 conversion to my 748.It was Fantastic!!Certainly better than a 748 or 916!! All the revs of the 748 with the grunt of a 916.ACE!!
