Just fitted an alloy clutch basket from these guys

worth checking out, they do loads of 'stuff' and the price and quality are fine (well, for the clutch any way) and only took 4 days to get here.

I just ordered a steel Ducati one from DG for about £130. I looked at the alloy ones but because the plates on the SS are steel, alloy baskets wear down quicker, hence its better to get a steel basket. Or so I have been told by Harry....

Unless you use the Alloy clutch pack from an ST4s

Yeah he did say that too. You can get aftermarket kits. Think Sigma? Do a good one. Pricey

Yeah, really needs alloy plates with the alloy basket, got a set of newfren alloy plates (DS-1208) from these guys in germany - motorize.de - for £86 all in. Not cheap but not as bad as a lot of others.

I quite like the noise of mine, my other half said it sounded rusty????? lol
