You could always find one on a budget, make it super reliable, turn it into a rat bike or even get fancy with a spondon frame. Turn it into a reliable tourer, throw some nitrous on it, tune it up, bore it out, the list was and remains endless

I had a 650 Bandit i bought from new in 2005, i put over 50K miles on it.
My son and me went all over the place on it, great bike, i sold it to get the money for the 900ie, i was working in a shit job and the pay was crap.
I bought it on finance, i had to put a £1 deposit on it, a deal Crescent Suzuki where doing at the time.

I kept it in mint condition, Guinness to keep clean but loved it.
This is the exhaust i made for it, i had to pack it well and put a baffle on for the M.O.T, loud as fuck with no baffle.
The neighbours loved me when i took it to work in the summer, i had to leave at 5.30AM.
I had my first council flat just up the road so kept it at my parents garage that is now mine, funny how thing's turn out sometimes.
