Ian, that was me coming out of Alston this afternoon, I would have stopped but the others were 'away'
It was lovely at Hartside, saw someone on a 999 and there was a Nice Mutistrada with graphics ?

By the time we got a few miles down the road it was raining !!

Went over to Kielder then Rothbury, nice warm day, a good run out apart from the rubbish petrol consumption of my 1098 (75 miles until fuel light ! )
 
saw Alan 1st then you

I headed the other way via middleton, stanhope & home
spied a yellow mongsta parked at the elks head, red 999 while heading to Alston & a yellow 748 by Derwent rez.
 
We passed DD as you were heading towards Middleton and we were on our way back home. Twisty section mid way between Alston and Langdon Beck just after you pass the sign between cumbria and Durham.

there was a red multi with white panels went through Middleton when we had lunch there.
there wa a 999 parked on the outer edge of Hartside cafe but we didn't bother stopping, headed home and just got in before the heavy rain started.
 
never saw you Giz - were you on the BMDumbledor.

by the time I got past Alston I was on bike spotting overload, the queen mother could have passed me on a Harley with her tiara glinting in the sun & I wouldnt have noticed
 
we were on the big and little GS'es - you looked like you had your head down enjoying the bends anyway
