Mad Dash

Just visiting
Word on the street is that another upstanding member of our forum community has joined the ranks of the D16RR owners... stand forward and be counted ............

;)

The Jury is still out on that one!

Between dynos, handling, tyres, incompetent setting up etc etc etc.........you would have to have a death wish to buy one to actually USE it!!

Ah, the green eyed monster shows his ugly face once more!:jerkoff::laugh::welcome:

I suppose it's too much to ask that you would just be happy for the people that are fortunate and lucky enough to afford to own one.
Like lots of NICE people are / were for you and your 999R Xerox?!?!

Nah, what am I talking about, that is WAY too much to ask!:laugh:

Of course without you having EVER ridden or owning one - you really haven't got a clue how magical the entire ownership experience is. And no matter how you go on and on - everyone that's got 'em loves them to bits!!:D You're being ignored!!!

In fact one of my customers who shall remain nameless has just bought his second to keep in the house!! (a very hard working, lucky man - brilliant style!)

Yet you choose to take every possible opportunity and attempt to poke fun and have a cheap jibe at the Desmo AND therefore the owners that have them!

I think without doubt it is some of the most transparent jealousy I have ever encountered!!!:finger:

Martin:D

One of the most coherent posts from you in a long time.:D

I only say it like I see it. Great bike but a very angry one.

As for the jealousy aspect, its not the case. I have had many lovely possessions over the years and one thing I don't succumb to is envy or anything close to it. To the uneducated it may look that way.

I also work hard for my money and enjoy spending what little I have left!

As for putting one in the house? A bit twee perhaps, but I can see how it may work in the right place/house etc.

I can think of better uses for £37500 than sitting a production bike idle, but its not my money and lets face it, if you want it and can afford to do it then why not?!

Now, stop being so sensitive because I had a wee pop at your ad. :chill:

:D

C'mon - own up

C'mon, I know you're out enjoying the D16RR but identify yourself... c'mon, stand forward and be counted.

Are you taking it to Jerez.... ooops that slipped out ;)

Mine is on loan to Classic Cars. First road test!

Desmosedici vs. a Triumph Spitfire.

It'll blitz the 'T' on the straights but I'm @@@@ed for the corners.
I may lose points on the ownership experience too. Apparently the Triumph owners got a wee 'tour de factoire', a mug and a Fair Isle knit. Blows my 'honestly, your bike is coming in 2003' letter into the weeds. Its only a Xerox copy as well!! Topped and tail'ed.

So I'm not gonna be at Jerez with mine.

Blows my 'honestly, your bike is coming in 2003' letter into the weeds.

eh... you post some p1sh but this takes the cake. How can your bike come in 2003 when it's based on the 2006 bike... was the Ducati Time Machine RR being used for that ?
