I need a fix! Can anyone help? Lakes, Wales, Dales. I don't care, as long as I can be there in an hour or so from Wigan.

Bugger:mad:
Looks like a nice day as well.
Got back today and left the bike for a couple of hours outside.
Thought to check tyre pressure expecting to get out on it tomorrow and rear is 15psi. Wasn't like that when i set off.
Back up to 35psi and 2 hours later it's lost 3psi.
No nails, no visible tears/rips/slices.
Back to tst next week I guess.
Have a good one Rob.

I feel your pain Alane, Mrs Rob managed to get a nail in the sidewall of her car tyre yesterday: £126!!!!!

Thanks Guys.
I am suspecting possibly leaking from the edge?
Will tyre weld be good enough for that?
I think I may have to requisition the bath tomorrow morning and dump the whole thing in there.

Out mountain biking in morning but may head out to Devils or more likely Hartside early afternoon depending upon weather pm me your mobbie and if i'm going to be south I'll text .....

Me and Lil are toying wiith either Mallory (Thundersport - to see CK and her boys) or possibly a ride somewhere else, wales, Matlock, C&F etc

Hope everyone enjoyed their days out wherever they ended up.
Personally I got over to Derby and came back over the cat - not something I would normally do as I much prefer the Solomons Mount road from Buxton - less idiots.
True to form the Cat had its events: R1 being chased by large rover car being followed by summat or other going fast - all on the way up to the cat from Macc direction. R1 scraping round corner nearly loses it and i'm in his firing line...bollox...he does keep it together and the rover up his 4rse bounces round the same bend like a loon.

About 2 miles further down I passes what looks like a bad un on the bend (I'm guessing it was the tail end charlie from the previous loon's). Quite a few folks (bikes) already there and a couple of car stopped as well.
By the time I got to the station traffic lights the medic estate was b&t's on its way followed by ambulance.

Was it Hill Street Blues that said "Be careful out there"?

just got back from 240 mile trip which was great :)

we also came back over C&F and they were just loading a gixer into a van from one that had been scraped up near the top.

As usual, we rode down it nice and sedately :)

Managed to get a little local bimble in, up to Rivvy Barn and then across to Southport, and then home by 12, by order of Mrs Rob, to man the BBQ as she decided to invite the outlaws over.
